Water Feedings Daily fluid requirements of the infants are met by the daily formula or by breast feeding. Extra feeding are usually not necessary. However, during the summer it is well to give a little extra water, because of the increased temperatures. Two ounces of water and one-half teaspoonful of Karo or sugar may be offered twice a day. These can cause orthopedic problems with the feet or back. Consult your pediatrician. |
