Vitamins
  1. For breast-fed babies and evaporated milk formulas, vitamins will be given to you. A good preparation to use is the drop type, containing vitamins A, C, D and fluoride. If prepared formulas are used such as Enfamil, Modilac, or Similac, etc., additional vitamins are not necessary since they are in the formula. A fluoride preparation will be prescribed and is important for all children until age 12 years (given daily).
  2. Chewable dose vitamins used for older children are given in a dose of one tablet daily. (Children may be given supplementary vitamins, but are really not necessary with proper diet.)
