Final Prayers
  1. It is recommended that some recognized books on general infant care be consulted. "Infant and Child Care" by Doctor Spock is well known. Other books are usually available.
  2. We recommend your infant be examined when he reaches the age of about one to two weeks.
  3. Please dress the infant lightly. We know you are proud of all the new clothes, but we don't have to see them all in one visit. Wrap the baby in a blanket if he needs extra warmth.
  4. Allow us to reiterate that this brochure is not intended for your use as a final word in infant care. You will be able to use many of the recommendations offered herein. However, for the most part, your own initiative, ingenuity and especially the desires of the newborn infant will regulate his or her care.
  5. Neighbors, friends, relatives, etc., mean well by frequently giving advice, but unfortunately what has worked for them seldom will work for you or anybody else. On matters of deep concern about your baby, please talk to us about it. Good luck, and most of all- enjoy your baby.
